God’s Purpose for Your Life

“For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” ~ Philippians 2:13

From early youth, few people realize what they want to do throughout life, and when they grow up they get to do it. Yet, most of us require time to find our purpose and may be rerouted many times before discovering our direction.

Hope

God made us with an explicit purpose, and He created us with the blessings, gifts, resources, and opportunities we need to accomplish His plan for our lives.  If the journey ahead seems unclear, and you don’t know what to do next, breathe a sigh of relief because there is hope for all of us. All we need to do is put our trust in God’s wisdom, knowledge, and love, and our journey will begin to change in the right direction. We will discover what we are looking for – not our purpose in life, but God’s purpose in our lives.

So today let’s arm ourselves with His love by reading the bible or other books that will help us know and bring us closer to Him so that we can hear His voice and direction.

Loving Father, at each phase in my life, guide my journey with Your great and benevolent will so that I can complete the purpose you set in life for me.
